One county, five court locations. Find the building first.
Lucky Bail Bonds writes bail bonds on Visalia and Tulare County cases from its one office, in Fresno. In many cases the paperwork can be done over the phone and online, without a trip to Fresno.

Which building they're in
Start with the Sheriff's inmate search. A last name usually finds the record, and the roster carries a middle-name column, which helps when the surname is a common one. If the person turns out to be held somewhere else, the service areas page has the other counties' searches.
Open the record and it carries a line called Facility. That's the building, in the county's own words. The same record shows the booking date and a Bond Amount, which is the bail itself rather than the cost of a bond. The court date sometimes shows as 01/01/0001, which is the county's placeholder rather than a real date.
These are the jail facilities the Sheriff's Detentions Division names on its operations page. Each number below comes from that facility's own page.
-
(559) 735-1700, Bob Wiley Detention Facility
Bob Wiley Detention Facility
-
(559) 735-1750, Pre-Trial Facility

-
(559) 782-7800, South County Detention Facility

Some of the Sheriff's other pages use building names that aren't on that list, so go by the Facility line on the record rather than a name somebody gave you over the phone. Check the county's site if a number doesn't answer.

Once bail is set
The Bond Amount on the Tulare record is the bail, set from the county bail schedule or by a judge. Once there's a figure, a licensed agent can go through what a bond against it would come to before anything is signed.
Have the person's full name and the county ready. If the record shows a building you've never heard of, read the name out and an agent will work out where that is.
Where Lucky works from
Lucky Bail Bonds, Est. 1966, writes bail bonds from one office, at 1243 Van Ness Avenue in Fresno. There's no Visalia storefront and no separate Visalia line.
A Tulare County case is arranged the same way a Fresno one is. A licensed agent takes the person's name and the county and handles the paperwork from there. We will then post the bond(s) at the jail or file it with the court as necessary.
Before you hand money to a bail agent you've never met, check the agent's license with the California Department of Insurance. The license number at the foot of this page is all it takes to look us up.
